Community Guidelines
Last updated July 2026
Tripsorb is a place for travellers and organisers to discover experiences, share real journeys and connect before, during and after a trip. These guidelines keep it safe and welcoming for everyone. They apply to your profile, posts, photos, comments, messages, communities and reviews. Breaking them can lead to content removal, warnings, suspension or a permanent ban.
The spirit
- Be kind and respectful. Treat fellow travellers and organisers the way you'd want to be treated.
- Be real. Use your true identity, post your own content, and write honest reviews of experiences you actually had.
- Be helpful. Share useful, accurate travel information that helps others plan and explore.
What's not allowed
- Harassment & hate. No bullying, threats, or attacks on people based on who they are.
- Harm to minors. Zero tolerance for any content that sexualises or endangers children. We remove it and report it to authorities.
- Sexual & explicit content. No pornographic or sexually explicit material.
- Violence & danger. No glorifying violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities.
- Illegal activity. No selling illegal goods, drugs, weapons, wildlife, or facilitating crime.
- Scams & fraud. No phishing, fake listings, fake reviews, or deceptive schemes.
- Off-platform payment pressure. Don't pressure others to pay outside Tripsorb to dodge buyer protections.
- Spam. No bulk unsolicited messages, repetitive posts, or follow/like manipulation.
- Impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone else or a business you don't represent.
- Privacy violations. Don't share others' private information without consent.
- Misinformation. Don't post false safety, health or travel information that could put people at risk.
Authentic reviews & travel content
Reviews must come from genuine experiences. Don't post paid, fake or retaliatory reviews, and don't offer incentives for positive ones. Organisers may not review their own listings or those of competitors.
Reporting & enforcement
If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report option on the profile, post or message. Our team reviews reports and may, depending on severity:
1 · Remove content
2 · Warn the user
3 · Temporary suspension
4 · Permanent ban
Serious violations (such as harm to minors, credible threats, or fraud) can result in an immediate ban and referral to law enforcement, without prior warning.
Appeals
If you believe we made a mistake, you can appeal by emailing hello@tripsorb.com. We'll take another look.
Blocking & safety tools
You can block any user to stop them contacting you or seeing your activity, and you can control who can follow you and message you in your privacy settings. If you ever feel unsafe, contact local emergency services first, then report to us.
