Tripsorb ("we", "us") is operated by Hermitz Ventures. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use our marketplace, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. Where we act as a marketplace, organisers you book with are separate controllers of the data you share with them.

Community & social features

If you use our community features, we also process:

Visibility. Your profile and posts may be public or limited to your followers, depending on your privacy setting. Messages are visible to the people in the conversation. To keep the community safe and to comply with the law, our moderation team may review reported content and messages and may retain copies needed to investigate abuse, fraud or safety issues, or where required by law or legal process.

Your controls. You can edit or delete your posts, block other users, control who can follow or message you, and request deletion of your account and associated social content from your account settings.

Cookies we use

We use a small number of cookies. Functional cookies are needed for the site to work; analytics cookies are optional.

Sharing & third parties

We share data only as needed to run the service: with the organisers you book with, our payment processor (Stripe), and our analytics and email providers. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep your account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Posts and profile content remain until you delete them or close your account. Direct and group messages are retained while your account is active; we may keep copies of reported or flagged conversations for as long as needed to handle safety, abuse or legal matters. You can ask us to delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can download a copy of your data or delete your account from your account settings, or contact us using the details below.
